This vintage Louis Style Chair is just fabulous and the quality of finish speaks for itself, just stunning. It is so totally unique and hand finished to a high standard having been fully stripped to the frame of its original upholstery and rebuilt using fire retardant (FR) upholstery materials to meet current UK standards. The frame has been hand painted using a professional black mineral paint layered over an antique gold furniture paint. The carvings, detail and feet have been highlighted with antique gold paint, "ooh I just love this chair, its is so magical". The whole frame has been finished with lashings of furniture wax and then buffed to give a beautiful sheen. The seat and back of the chair are finished in a high quality black and white harlequin design FR velvet fabric, and the front has been printed onto a sumptuously soft velvet with the most delightful Alice in Wonderland 'New Year Alice' design. All fabrics have been especially printed for this chair.
This magical chair would beautifully adorn any room in the home. For those of you that love quirky chairs and of course all of you Alice fans out there, you will absolutley adore her.

I am the creator of the original New Year Alice chair. I created my first chair several years ago and since then others have tried to replicate her but the quality of finish on my chair speaks for itself as you will see from the images. I only use the finest quality professional products for refinishing the frame and rebuilding the upholstery. As well as fully replacing the upholstery, all the fabric is printed to order which ensures that everything fully meets fire safety regulations. Quality and safety, never compromise!
Furniture will be transported via my trusted courier. I charge a flat rate of £75.00 for items being delivered to most of mainland England. For delivery to South West England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Highlands & Islands there may be a surcharge, please contact me for an accurate quote before purchasing.
If you have purchased an item that is to be refinished to your specification, the timescales for completion and delivery will be agreed with you. The agreed delivery timescale is subject to your availability to receive the item and the availability of the courier
